Steven, the new golf club captain (from March 2026 to March 2027) has nominated the QEHKL Charity as their charity for the year. Specifically supporting our Cancer Care Fund, Stuart shares his story:
“Hi I’m Steven. I am the new senior captain for Swaffham Golf Club and I have chosen The QEH Charity as my chosen charity as it is a cause very near and dear to my heart. In 2021 I was diagnosed with bowel cancer. If it was not for the care , help and support of my local hospital, I may not still be here. This is my way of giving back to the hospital, and to the people that have given me back my life.
“Cancer touches all our lives at some point and I hope that the money raised makes the lives of those going through cancer more dignified, more peaceful and more tranquil and goes toward helping those that support patients and our loved ones.”
