Dementia Fair

Open to staff, patients, carers and members of the public, this event will bring together dementia experts, local charities, and healthcare professionals for a day of learning, discussion, and support.

What’s happening on the day

You’ll hear from guest speakers covering everything from the future of dementia care to the benefits of exercise therapy. Talks will include:

• The future and prevention of dementia – Dr Katie Honney
• The Herbert Protocol – PC Chloe Geary, Norfolk Police
• Memory Clinic – Dr Kathyrn Sams
• The New Hospital and Dementia – Toni Platts
• Benefits of exercise therapy – Steve Hitchens, EPIC Norfolk

You’ll also be able to visit stalls from a wide range of organisations offering advice, resources, and information – including Age UK, Alzheimer’s Society, Careline, Dementia UK, Lily, and many more.
